Children 0 - 3 - Nursery Care
Paid childcare workers provide child care for our youngest members during the 10:00 a.m. service from Sept. - June and during the 9:00 am service during the summer months. Parents are given a "beeper" (it buzzes) so that the caregivers can alert them when their child requires their attention.
Children Ages 3-14 - Godly Play®
Godly Play is spoken here during the Sunday 10:00 am worship service for children ages 3-14 from September to June, on Monday mornings at 10:30 am for children ages 3 and up, AND on Tuesday afternoons at 3:15 pm for children ages 3 and up.
Godly Play teaches children the art of using Christian language - parable, sacred story, silence and liturgical action - helping them become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives.
When Christian language is learned by the Godly Play approach, it is learned as a means to know God and to make meaning of our lives. This approach is quite different from the traditional model in
which the teacher tells the children what they need to know. Godly Play is not about things that are that simple. It is not just about learning lessons or keeping children entertained. It is about
locating each lesson in the whole system of Christian language and involving the creative process to discover the depths of meaning in them. It’s about understanding how each of the stories of God’s
people connects with the child’s own experience and relationship with God. Godly Play respects the innate spirituality of children and encourages curiosity and imagination in experiencing the mystery
and joy of God.
Our volunteer teachers are trained by Co-Rector and Godly Play Teacher Trainer, the Rev. Cheryl V. Minor. In addition a number of them have become Accredited Godly Play Teachers by attending an 18 hour training event. All Saints' has been designated a Godly Play Center of Excellence by the Godly Play Foundation. We are known throughout the region for our beautiful classrooms and often host visitors and training events.

Confirmation Class
Confirmation Class is offered every other year for 8th and 9th graders. Our next class is scheduled for 2018-2019. Watch the E-News for up to date calendar information regarding this class.
We use a program called, "My Faith, My Life: A Teens Guide to the Episcopal Church." Teens who take the class are eligible for confirmation in the spring.
