Giving Back - Time and Talent
All Saints' stewardship effort is not just about funding the
operating budget of our Parish. We firmly believe that for all of
us, our relationship with our money is fundamentally a spiritual
matter. It's implications for our lives in Christ are no less
significant than prayer or our offering of time and talent to
God.
Money has always been one of the major preoccupations of people in
all ages. Jesus understood the implications of this and often
spoke to the potential spiritual good or ill that rises out of our
relationship to our money.
Money is a fearfully powerful reality! Let it's power be used in
your life to lift you closer to God who has given you all that you
have and all that you are - let it lift you closer to God who
loves you and wants to be in relationship with you.
So, whether you pledge to All Saints' Church or some other
community that you are a part of, please consider giving a
proportion of the gifts God has given you. Your life will never be
the same again!
The Warden's Stewardship Letter outlines
the Vestry's targets for 2012. The response in pledges has been
extremely encouraging; by God's grace, giving exceeded the
targets and mostly closed the budget gap.
Volunteering
Giving back is not just about our money, but our time and talent
too. Please read about the many opportunities to volunteer in our
community and ways of Getting Involved.
